A:  From the time you enter the car wash tunnel to the exit….Less than 3 minutes!

How often should I wash my car?

A:  Weekly.  However, environmental elements such as sun, salt, bugs, bird droppings and rain take a toll on your vehicles finish and would require more frequent washing.

Do you wash vans & trucks?

A:  Yes, our equipment has a clearance of 7’ 6”.  This would accommodate most passenger trucks and vans.

Are you open in the winter?

A:  Yes, usually to 0 degrees, but sometimes lower.  And yes, you can wash your car when it is that cold.  If in doubt please call 314-533-1234.

Does the Best & Penguin’s Pride washes take more time than the Express wash?

A:  No.  No additional time is needed for the package washes.

Does the underside of my vehicle need to be washed?

A:  Yes, it is very important.  Road film, dirt, mud, salt all adhere to the underside of the vehicle, and the build-up promotes rust.  Frequent washing helps to prevent rust from starting.

How long does the protection in the wash packages last?

A: In general, about 30 days.  However, environmental elements such as sun, salt, bugs, bird droppings and rain take a toll on your vehicles finish and requires more frequent washing.

Does Gas House clean the inside of my car?

A:  No. We are an exterior wash.  We have 14 self-serve vacuums on our property for your use.

What if my vehicle doesn’t come clean?

A:  No worries. All of our car washes are Satisfaction Guaranteed!  If it doesn’t come clean the first time, we will re-wash it free!  Don’t forget all of our washes are Penguin Approved!  Just see a cashier for a rewash ticket.

What if it rains the day I wash my vehicle?

A:  Again, The Penguin has you covered.  All Gas House car washes come with a Rain Guarantee.  If it rains by midnight the day you wash your car, you have 48 hours to return and have it washed free.  Again, just ask the cashier for rain wash.
