Whatever a car wash usually is, Gas House isn’t. Thus, our approach has always been to provide the finest quality product available.  It is an on-going process.  It truly is a work in progress.  Our job is never finished; there is always new improved ways to make it better!

However soap (soaps…we use 8 different kinds) is just one aspect in our formula for washing cars, granted a very critical one.

We have the benefit of 60 plus year washing cars, net working with the best in the industry, our credo of striving to continually improve our product and performance, and choosing soaps based on performance and environmentally safe –friendly to the environment, not cost.

The analogy of how we wash cars is like washing your hands you need:

• Soap – to break the ionic attraction (like a magnet)
• Water – distributes the soap all over the vehicle and into every nook and cranny.  Softened to remove the calcium so our soaps aren’t competing with the minerals.  More potent and efficient.
• Time  - you need the time to allow our soaps to do their job of lossening (it’s not on then off 2 seconds later)
• Temperature – heated water to increase the soaps potency and effectiveness.
• Friction – now we have loose hanging dirt, how do you remove?  High pressure water through special nozzles.   Mitter curtains to gently clean, remove loose dirt and provide surface disturbance; it activates the ions making them more active and thus the finish glossier.

This is how Gas House does it.
