The Penguin

Prior to coming to Gas House in 1994, The Penguin had a successful commercial fishing career in the Antarctic Peninsula.

While flapping around the world trying to find himself, he realized that both his passion and expertise lay in water related fields.  He knew he had found his true calling when he landed a position at Gas House Car Wash.  His dedication and commitment were marveled at within the car wash industry.  By 1997, he had risen to COO of Gas House inspiring the crew and giving his “Stamp of Approval” (or not) to all areas of car washing.  As his reputation grew, he was sought out by business leaders throughout the world who wanted him to endorse their companies and products.  Few, other than Gas House, met the standards and requirements needed to persuade him of their worthiness. (In 2007, he made an exception for Arctic Ice).

The Penguin has not lost touch with the importance of good customer service and day to day operations.  On chilly days you may see The Penguin at Gas House Car Wash greeting customers and making sure the car wash meets his high standards.

He is proud to announce that Gas House Car Wash remains the ONLY Penguin Approved car wash in the northern hemisphere.

Team Gas House is an unusually dedicated crew.  Together with management, they have a combined total of over 175 years experience, car wash knowledge, and having fun while working at Gas House Car Wash.
